1Alert Stix are easy to use fire extinguishing stickers that comprise of special pigments consisting of polymer shells which are applied using microencapsulation technology to insert fire extinguishing agent in the form liquid, gas, or solids into micro-capsules (10-350 µM).
The shell of the micro-capsules burst at 120 °C thereby releasing the extinguishing agent (FK-5-1-12) to put out the fire at its incipient stage or delay the propagation of the fire.

1Alert Stix can safely remain in “standby mode” for many years but when activated, will automatically target the fire at its source, preventing the fire from developing further.
The products are intended to be used within electrical enclosures where there maybe chances of short circuits or electrical failure which may result in a fire.
It requires no maintenance and has a 5 year lifespan.
1Alert Stix are available in 4 different sizes (20L/30L/50L/65L) depending on the enclosure volume requiring protection.
